What about these Cycles

#1 Unread post by Northern_Rider »

I'm looking to buy my first ride and in my area I have these choices under 1500.00

1982 KAWASAKI 250 LTD - mini cruiser! - Low riding - easy to handle, great first bike or worth collecting, exec condition almost showroom! - Low kilometers, nothing to safety. new tires, new paint, electric start, belt drive $1450.00 OBO

1982 YAMAHA XS 400 HERITAGE SPECIAL, grt beginner bike, with only 25,000 kms, will safety, has good battery, tires, chain and sprockets, comes with tank bag, asking $1000 OBO

1985 SUZUKI GS400E Great starter bike. Good condition, low km''s. New tires & chain. New safety. $1200 OBO

I would like to know what other members think of these and if there are ttrouble spots to watch out for with each.

Thanks everyone for the info and yeah I like the XS400 Special myself cause the bike will handle bags a little nicer. Aggroton is that your ride? I like the Special because of the 2 step seat and it's got mufflers on both sides which remind me of muscle cars with dual exhaust.

Thanks again.
