Imports at Sturgis

#1 Unread post by Fropa »

I just started riding this year and would really like to go to Sturgis and/or other big bike gatherings in the future. Are non-Harley riders accepted these days or are they still strictly HD/American events? How many people here go to these events? They look like a great time but I don't really have the biker "look" or the Harley Davidson.

From what I've read about it, having a Harley isn't really required. After all, it's an exercise in debauchery, nudity, and loud pipes. Probably just about anything goes.

I've seen video footage on news shows and I've seen lots of sportbikes. It seems they usually stick together.

One is judged by one's demeanor and one's behavior more so than by one's mode of getting there .

Have never been myself (it's a bit of a distance from teh UK!) but have heard that pretty much anything goes!
Don't give up.

Not now, not soon, not after being continually knocked down.

If you never give up, you can never truly fail.
