Ditto on that. And it's been a long time since I worried if someone thought I was a sissy. I do ride a 360 after all

My sentiments exactly, I dont drink and a cold pepsi is the way to go.oldnslo wrote:I may sound like a sissy, but nothing tastes as good to me on a hot ride as a Dairy Queen blizzard or cone... and I'll take coffee or hot chocolate on a cold ride.
The way i see it, i'd rather be able to drink lots of delicious pepsi than a little alcohol... wait.. any alcohol at all, i guess i just dont see the fun in not having all my motor functions up to snuff...

How can you be a sissy for riding those bikes, thats old tech that I am too scared to ride now. I could not do without my engine management system, latest tyre tech and ABS brakes. Could be we are the sissies. Glad to see most of the guys do not drink and drive though, I think this is a major factor in road deaths. We should get a law passed that say's that all cage drivers that drive home drunk must have a guy with flag walking in front of him like in the old days, maybe gsjack remembers that.
I spent my therapy money an a K1200S
The therapy worked, I got a GS now
A touch of insanity crept back in the shape of an R1200R

A person would have to be a complete idiot to ride intoxicated. The factors are just too dangerous even when sober. Why compound an already risky situation.
That being said plenty of people hop on their bikes after ingesting *ahem* intoxicating substances. Some never make it home and some survive to do it again. I think its unlikely a biker could kill someone in a car; probably a pedestrian and most definately themselves.
Pure folly. How selfish.

The only time I feel any real catharsis is on a MOTORCYCLE!
