Update. I think I may have located the problem

I just got the Clymer manual in yesterday so I was looking at the carb schematics. I got a flashlight and was inspecting to the two carbs late last night (They are still attached to the bike. I didn't remove the seat yet). I noticed the the rear carb was covered in oil and or gas. The front carb was perfectly clean. Looking at the shop manual I see that there is some sort of vapor recovery hose coming off the cylinder head that goes into a plastic distrubution box that leads to the intakes on the carbs. This must be where the oil is coming from. It must be cracked or disconnected. This also might be creating a vacuum leak that is causing the motor to run lean.

Any thoughts.
