I bought a new (to me) bike this morning. It's a 59 Western Flyer "Golden Flyer". Dig the "dual headlights" on the "chrome tank" or the "springer front" suspension. Lol

Those style of bikes have come back into fashion...they call them beach cruisers....or just cruisers...

I did a partial detail on my car. I'll finish it tomorrow. Going on a weekend road trip with a 9 year old boy sure does have its drawbacks...dirty, messy car. It was a fun trip though. I took him to Kamloops to visit with his cousin who is 4-1/2 years... and the new baby who is 3-1/2 months.

Cleaned up kitchen after breakfast. Told Jesus "thanks" for the sunshine on my day off.
Ran my John Deere all day running sand and gravel to finish a "trail" of steps around my deck to the back yard. Pulled weeds and slautered blackberry bushes to clear a spot for a garden. Took 1200 mg ibuprofen..... Drinking Pinot noir now.

Met up with members of BMOC (British Motorcycle Owner Club of BC http://www.bmoc.ca/ ) at their weekly gathering at the Big 6 greasy spoon in Burnaby. Had a nice breakfast and then came home as no ride outs were planned. Seem like a nice bunch of old to middle aged farts, I should fit in well as would both Doc and Blues. One of the them rode in on another '98 Trophy, though his was grey and a 900 CC model. Tomorrow I think I will ride to work.
