Award Winning actor and motoring enthusiast Shane Jacobson, returns to a different stage at the Bacchus Marsh MX circuit on Saturday Sept 19 in the seat of a Polaris RZR (pronounced Razor) XP 1000. Most recently featuring in Foxtel's Open Slather and the movie lead in "Oddball" (at cinemas now), Shane exited the first round of the Polaris RZR Australian Championship last April in a most spectacular cartwheel. Fortunately the integrity of the CAMS approved construction did its job and Shane walked away unscathed.

Matt Mingay, Australia's leading extreme athlete and well known Hot Wheels Stuntz Inc crew chief, knows a stunt when he sees one and couldn't be more pleased to see Shane back for another crack in this adrenalin packed race series. "I knew he could act and drive a car at a fair pace, but I never knew he could pirouette", jibed Mingay on hearing of Shanes return. "Either way, it's always going to be entertaining and I am hanging out to get behind the wheel of a RZR once again and mix it up with Shane".

The Polaris RZR XP 1000 is a high-performance, light weight, 4-wheel off-road racer, featuring a 1000cc engine producing 110 horsepower which is put to the ground through an all-wheel drive system and ultra-long travel suspension. At the end of this year, the new Polaris RZR Turbo will join the fun for the 2016 season.

The one make series is the brain child of Sam Beck and run through his promotions company Grunt Global. "We wanted to partner with someone serious about the sport and Polaris is the logical choice. The RZR XP 1000 is already a 3 times ARC championship winner in the hands of Cody Crocker and a class winner in the Finke Desert Race. That's an enviable track record".

This event is the final for 2015 and therefore the last opportunity to see the high flying action until it returns for 2016.

Racing starts at 9am. Entry is $10 at the gate and kids are free. Catering is available at the circuit. The Bacchus Marsh MX Track is located at the junction of Cummings Rd and School Lane just off the Bacchus Marsh – Geelong Road.
