This is an example of thinking outside the box. The smoke is totally unnecessary, and can be fixed, but no transmission makes it all interesting. I'd also make it a whole lot smaller...

It's a bit too Rube Goldberg-ish for my tastes. I prefer the Hatz Diesel in a Royal Enfield version, it's much less complicated.

I recall the US Marines already use a modified KLR650 that runs on diesel or jet fuel.
