MSF at 7 AM in the rain...

#1 Unread post by Ninja Geoff »

It's gonna be fun.

Well, yesterday i took the first half of the MSF course. All i can say is that it was a blast. The little Nighthawk i was on wasn't quite as flickable as my dirtbike (duh) so it was a little weird at first. One bad thing was that the course instructer told me to slow down and stop trying to lean it like a sport bike  . I'm now going to go get ready for Day 2, and i think that it's raining out.

Fourtunatly, the rain was really light for only an hour or so. And i passed :D . just have to go to the DMV with the endorsment paper and get that little M stamped onto my lisence. I got the best (road course) grade in the class, a 4  . Maybe NOW i can convince my mom to let me get a real bike on the road. Dirt is fun and all, but i wanna try some asphault.

Congrats. Make sure you use all that safety stuff you learned. you lucked out - I took the test in Seattle in march. It rained hard every second I was on the course for both days. It absolutely sucked. But it did teach me that there's no need to fear the rain if you are dressed properly.
