i was wondering what gas mileage appox i get on my 2004 GSX-R600?

I'm sorta wondering that myself. Why don't you record your milage and amount of fuel used each time you fill up for a few tanks. Then we will all know.

I get about 40 everyday driving on my F4i.

well i would do that but i haven't had to fill up since i bought it

Ya gotta ride it before it needs to be filled.

I check mine a few times each summer. First check I worked it out to 61 miles per gallon, next check 60.1 mpg, then I found this neat converter on the internet to calculate mpg for metrics stuff so i thought NEAT! I'll use that. Suddenly i found that milage had dropped to 50 something. Started to get worried till I discovered that the neat converter was using US gallons where I had been using Imperial gallons. So my milage came right back up to where i was used to seeing it.

I grew up on imperial measure so prefer to stick with it.

I do know this though. Riding the other day with a group and we all started off full and filled at the same place. I had fuel cost of $7.57 to their costs of over $10, Of course they have bigger bikes, mainly the 1100 yamaha twins.

there are times when it's good to be smaller.

well i found out theres a huge differance i put 13L in it and had gone 177 kms so thats like 33 mpg?? but the next fill up i put in 6 L and had gone 112 so thats like 46?? can you tell i just got the bike and had to test it out lol

from my experience milage on a sporty style bike will vary alot, a cruiser will most likely get consistant milage. but sports bike(especially if your just learning) varies alot, some days you might run the rpms higher than others, you might let it warm up longer, you might sit at more red lights etc.

my cruiser i had down exactly how many miles i could get, on my more sport style bike the miles vary Alot tank to tank.
