Tuning a 1983 Yamaha Seca 400

#1 Unread post by Devan Zaruk »

Well I got it "running" so I guess thats the first step. I am having troubles getting the bike to idle. I know there are a thousand different reasons why this might be, but I was hoping some one had insight on how to go about eliminating the different possibilities. Is there something I should check first or a sequence I should go in? possible reasons? :frusty:

First, run it for awhile, it will get a little better. Check the float bowls for crud, the spark plugs, and the idle jets/screws.
