Every now and again .....
I remember to pop my head into this forum and so Hello to the members.
How are you guys doing.
As for me same old same old. Still got the R1200R and The Goose still has the CBR600RR and even at the ripe old ages that we are we still ride and I still Marshall.
South Africa is still going to "poo poo" and will get worse until it gets better, but then that can be said for many other places around the world. We are not at war, so that is something. We still have the best weather and some spectacular riding roads.
Let me know how you are getting on and who still remembers who.
Regards
SAPaul

I remember you Paul! I've made your sausage-stuffed pork loin recipe half a dozen times over the years, and I still recount the story you told about Marshalling for a gay pride event to customers in my store.
Glad to hear you're doing well and still riding, thanks for popping your head in. I've been trying to keep a hand in on here lately myself.

Hey Paul!
One of the people I came back to see! My regular account is locked and I cannot seem to reset it, so I am here to say hello - as well as to Eric and Carrie above as well. I hope you all have been doing awesome. It was a heck of a group here back in the day.
Cheers!

Re: Every now and again .....
I just dropped in, to see what condition my condition was in.
Much like Paul, not much has changed, still have the RoyalStar Venture, but it needs work and isn’t on the road right now. Retirement is nice, but part time work keeps me busier than I’d rather be.
Hope everyone is well, and I may stop by again, sooner than later.

Re: Every now and again .....
We shall see, we have elections coming soon. Pre "94 we were an apartheid state, post "94 we have been a one party state. With luck that will change. As for The Goose and I, we are Saffers through and through and it will take a Zimbabwe type situation to move us on. So we live in hope. Looking around I cannot see a country world wide that does not have problems.

Looking to invest in some quality base layers for riding. Any suggestions on brands or specific styles that offer comfort and warmth?
