The Canyon Grand Canyon 5 has better components (hydraulic brakes, RockShox fork) and performance, but costs a bit more. The Co-Op DRT 1.1 is more budget-friendly with free tune-ups from REI, though it has lower-end components (mechanical brakes). If you can stretch the budget, go for the Canyon; otherwise, the Co-Op is a solid value.

Displacement: It is recommended to start with a small displacement car below 250cc, which is easy to control and has moderate power.

Model: Street cars, cruisers or scooters are suitable for beginners, while off-road cars and sports cars require higher skills.

Seat height: Make sure both feet can land steadily on the ground to increase the sense of security.

Weight: Choose a lighter model for easy control and support.
