okay ill admit im new to this and ive been reading about these bikes for two years now. But i need some words of advice from you experienced " Bikers "
what should i look for ?
should i buy a beater bike to begin with ?
taking a course is imperitive..

helmet ?
any info would be nice

I think it would be better to get a newer bike, they are lighter in weight and more dependable.
