Sitting position on a Suzuki S50

#1 Unread post by Brent »

Has anyone put on a new seat PLUS a pull back style handlebars on a S50? I like the looks of the bike ok but if I got it I would like to be able to sit upright without leaning forward. Kinda like a motorcycle cop has to sit straight up. Also the seat makes me feel like I am sitting ON the bike rather DOWN IN the bike, if that makes sense. I think I sat on a Honda maybe a VLX that allowed me to sit DOWN, but I'm not sure. I don't know if I just need(in addition to the seat) pull back bars PLUS different risers or what. Can anyone help me or did I ramble on so that no one has any idea what I mean?

I sat on an S50 and also felt it would be a lot better with some risers or differnet bars on it. The VLX has you leaning even more. I ride an 82 Honda CM250 (not a Rebel) and it has you sitting straight up which I like. Personaly I'd take the S50 and try to make it fit better if I was going to get one, what I want is a Triumph Bonniville tho :)
