Height problem
Super Sarah Online has a list of bikes for short riders and a link to a short rider's web site. When you get to her site, click on "Which motorcycle should I buy?" I'm not sure how many sport bikes are included though. Best of luck

You can lower the rear of many sportbikes with lowering links like these:

The front can be generally lowered the same amount by sliding the forks up in the clamps as mentioned above.
Remember lowering the bike will reduce cornering clearance,

I saw a review of the new Gixxer, and it said its lower and smaller than most of the sport bikes (that its better for short riders.) I'm not sure its low enough for you, but it might be something to look at.
***edit*** I just looked at the short bikes list, and there are no sportbikes that come stock for your height, so you'll have to modify whatever bike you get. a lot of the sportbikes came in just a couple inches too high so it shouldn't be too hard to do the modifications to make it short enough for you.
