I don't like it at all. But then again, I don't like most new bikes.
What happened to the good 'ol days when the motor was the focal point?
It seems they are trying to draw your eye to a big hunk of plastic.

I think I just answered my own question.
Why don't motors look cool anymore?
Water cooling.
I have never seen a water cooled motor that looks good. Not in a bike anyway.

the FZ6 got the same blacked out treatment for the motor. They also have the FZ1 in a real nice dark red, also have the fz6 in that same red/
The FZ1s new exhaust is kinda weird looking though. Im suprised they didn't just use underseat exhaust like the FZ6
