Thought it might be interesting to see if the female perspective differs from a male perspective, For example, men may that that all black bikes are cool and women may not, we may all think that red bikes are great. It is really just to see how much common ground we have. All men think women bikers should wear black leather. Rubbish or not?

I don't tend to value opinions based on gender. Sometimes I agree with what a guy says. Sometimes not.

My bike's blue. I like blue. Everyone has a black bike and I like to stand out a bit from the cud chewing masses.

If you like black, I still value you're opinion. It doesn't however mean I agree with it.

What bothers me most about asking men stuff, especially when I'm in a place like a car or motorcycle repair place, is when they treat me like I don't know what I"m talking about. Maybe it's a southern thing, but it bugs me when I DO know what I'm talking about, and it's obvious that the man DOESN'T, and he STILL tries to tell me I'm wrong. UGH...

Depends on the man and the topic, but then again, that's applied to women as well. I'd never ask my husbands opinion on my motorcycle. He knows nothing! His brother on the other hand... My husband is a wealth of good info on other topics so it's easy to forgive him for his lack of mechanical knowledge.

I tried hard to come up with an example of something I didn't know... but being a woman, I know it all. :D
