Ride to the Beach

My girlfriend and I put on about 300 miles over the weekend riding from our home in West Chester PA, to the beach at Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. I rode my Nighthawk and she rode my 76 Vespa Rally. I know some of you motorcycle types put down scooters, but I think they're great! It cruised with me at about 60 mph the entire trip. They are a bit little tricky in the wind though...

We took a scenic road that goes next to a bay for most of the ride.

The scooter actually got a lot of waves, even from Harley Riders! Some of them even didnt wave at me on my Honda, then waved at her!

Incredible! I never would've imagined that riding that far on a Vesper would be within it's original design....just goes to show you not to have too many limitations!

hey thanks for sharing...great pics...looks like a good time. Of course any leisure riding time....if great....aww hell even riding to work is fun.....
