I think Cricket is more fun to watch than Baseball... Baseball is soo boring

Five days is far too long. - unless you are deeply into the concept of the game's 'inner drama' (as it was once explained to me.) Five days exceeds my attention span by a factor of about 1,000.

For most of us, I suspect, cricket is a deeply boring game - until, of course, England looks like winning The Ashes. Then everyone starts to discover that they were always a secret fan and they start buying enough newspapers to keep their proprietors in business for months.

To be fair it is extremely depressing to invent a sport that it seems everyone else is better at than us.

Its bad enough to do it with one sport but more than one is just very very depressing...

I think the Americans have the right idea on this one - have a World Series but not invite any of the other kids over to play! :D

Actually there is something very relaxing abou going down to a local Cricket match during the high point of English summer (15.35-17.40 17th August) dowing a few beers and watching a number of grown men beat away at a little red ball and shout inconprehensible things to each other...

I don't know much about cricket, but it can't be worse than golf or the WNBA.
