owners manual

I just got an 84 yamaha maxim 550 but just couldn't find an owner's manual anywhere. Is this the same as xj550? Can't do any maintenance work without a manual..help..anybody????

I'd get a factory service manual...I'm familiar with working on cars but never on bikes, and the owners manual really didnt tell me much. My FSM also has a maintenance interval chart.

thanks. I'll look it up. There's one from Book4cars.com for 16.95 plus shipping but it covers xj550, 600, etc. I wasn't sure if this is the right one.
