Kawasaki Z750S Vibration

#1 Unread post by dlortz »

I purchased the new 05 Z750S this May and already have 6900 miles on it. I'm experiencing vibration from 6K to 9K. If I reach down and touch the engine, it seems smooth, however, there is a lot of vibration in the pegs, mirrors, etc. I don't think it's mechanical but not sure either.

Bike runs great otherwise.

Anybody else with this bike having same issues?

The reviews I've read mention it. It's not that uncommon for an inline four. You can counteract alot of it with good gloves and boots. Bar-end weights help, too. My old 650 used to vibrate the mirrors so badly they were unusable above 5500 rpm. I made some bar-end mirrors, and now I can see behind me, even at today's highway speeds.
Ride safe...God bless!
