I'm a beginner rider and have decided to get a Ninja 250R as my first bike. I've noticed that the current model has been the same for like the past 4 years. I was wondering if anyone had some information as to when the 250R model will be redesigned. Its seems that its overdue and the worst thing for me is to buy this years model and it is redesigned next year.
Also, I think that the paintjobs for the 250R are really bad. The only attractive I've seen was blue and had yellow sticker decals. I've been tryna search which year that model came out but to know avail, anyone know?
Thanks in advance.

There's something to be said for having a model that's been around for awhile. You get to avoid the problems that are usually found in the first year after the re-design.Vit0r wrote:... the worst thing for me is to buy this years model and it is redesigned next year.

thats a sweet bike.
i have the 04 ninja in silver and black and I agree, the paintjobs are disgusting. The 06s are nice because the lower fairings match the upper fairings now, but they put these stupid tribal flame things on there....i really hope they are removable because they look cheesy as all hell.
to answer your Q, go to www.kawasaki.com they have the new ones up there, i dont know when they will be available, though.
