Ducati E900 Repair
I have a 1994 Ducati E900 that was crashed. The front end was destroyed so I have been rebuilding it. This is the first time I have ever done this and I'm having problems with the dashboard. I have the old dash so I've just been going by what the old one looks like, but I'm having a problem attaching the dash to its support. In the parts list, which I will post, #4 is supposed to be a "silent block". I have these parts from when the bike was crashed. They are screws with a rubber spacer attached to them. The problem I have is that I don't understand how these allow the dash to be attached to the support. The rubber cannot go into the dash as it is shown on in the picture. On the old dash it looks like the "silent blocks" are flipped, but that setup doesn't make any sense. If anyone has any suggestions or any place I can go to see how I am supposed to put this together, please share. If not, I understand. Thanks.

That could be the case and I will look into it. I took some pictures of the old dash so that my description will be clearer. On the old dash the "silent blocks" are put into the dash opposite of the way shown in the picture above. The screw part is bolted into the dash. The bolt is rusted inside the dash. The following pictures are of the front and back of the dash were screws will still inserted. I bought this bike in this condition, so I have not changed anything, this is how it came. Sorry about the size of the pictures, I don't know how to shrink them.
