Bush is getting on my nerves

#1 Unread post by zerocool »

What a coward! I can't believe we elected a president who only knows how to take vacations and get our troops killed in Iraq! My friend who just got out of the navy says it is going to be another repeat of Vietnam. No matter how much we want to, we will never be able to get out of Iraq. It is a hopless war and we just need to pull out and protect our own country! Think if all the money that could have gone to our own country ;)

I have always dislike Eminem but I agree 100% with this song! "Mosh"

Maybe we should start referring to it as Iraq-Nam. Has a nice ring to it...

I thought it was now the 51st state, which will duly be named after George II The Conqueror

***EDIT***

Actually, I'm starting to think it'll be the 52nd, as it's been a long time since Britain has been anything other than the lapdog of the US

My thoughts exactly. We have problems of our own, and our country was already in a jeebusload of debt, but what? Oh lets hammer the square peg through the round hole and bless the middle east (of all places) with American democracy.

My main beef with Bush though is just how he treats us like dumbasses. And that qurky little smile after he "answers" a question.

"Hey crazy donkey reporter, I'm patriotic. What more explanation could you need? Go America."

*smile*

We will win their hearts and minds with bullets and bombs and convert them to a model of US democracy if it kills every last one of them. A dead muslim cannot resist democracy. They can't shoot at or kill our soldiers, either. Nor can they build and utilize roadside bombs.
The insurgents are another thing, though..... :)

I was always under the impression that the Iraqis had a mature and sophisticated culture whose people had hearts and minds of their own. I'm not sure they want to be 'won' by somebody else's. Tthey have lost enough already - their oilfields, their independence and their lives.

Yea, I'm sure any one of "us" could do better. I mean since we got all the "inside info" and solders always know what's going on. :twocents:
