Buy a bike b-4 license?

#1 Unread post by scootini »

Hey Everyone,Let me preface this by saying that I do not have my license yet but i'm taking the msf class next weekend, and have been looking for a bike for the last 3 months. I think I might have found one. Question: Is it
common to get a bike before license and msf class?

thanks, Scootini

I rode for about a year and a half before obtaining a permit so...sure...have at it!

If you buy it from a dealer you won't be able to test ride it, even with a permit. After the MSF you might change your mind about the kind of bike you want...why buy a bike that's just going to sit in the garage? There are plenty of bikes out there to buy, a better deal will come along.
