My new Bike
i recently got a new klx400(aka dr-z400). i know its advised to get a used bike for my first but after a HORRID run of bad luck with used cars i just couldent stand the thought of a used bike. Anyways, i was woundering what everyone thought as this for my frist bike. My brother whos been riding for quite a long time sugested this. He said it would be the "safest" because id be higher up and easyer for cars to see and it isent some rocket between my legs im going to kill my self on. SO if you all dident mind, drop me your thoughts of my new bike and weather i made a good pick or a big mistake.

Well, sure, that's an excellent choice! It's a great all-purpose bike for the street and the dirt. Dirt riding can teach you a lot about handling a bike. I've always felt that experienced dirt riders become the best riders on the street too. It should be a very light, easy-handling bike.
Now, get some good training like an MSF course!
Ride safe!

Let me get this straight... it's one down and four up, right?
