I think I can spot a happy man - even at a distance.

Congratulations, Wizz

Hope it all works out the way you want.

I've done similar work for a local dealer in the past. Unfortunatly, here in Hicksville, that means assembling quads, sleds and more quads  . Once in a great while I got to put a dirtbike together, but they only sold 3 streetbikes in the 2 years, and the fulltime guys put those together. After 80 or so quads, they all look the same..... :sleepy: And I never got any special deals on anything either, just flatrate to whack 'em together. I would enjoy doing it alot more if I could slap the odd roadbike together. Had some pretty enjoyable 'test runs' though.....

Hope you enjoy your return to gainfull employment, Wiz. I'd wish you good luck, but I doubt you'll need it. So just have fun, eh?

It sounds like pure fun to me. I've toyed with the idea of going back to my old kind of job, but never enjoyed it that much. It was always tough to find anything exciting in programmable motorcontrol centers, variable frequency drives, and lighting control systems. Bo-ring. Plus, I am getting old, and technology is advancing more than my ability to keep up. Assembling and selling bikes would be just fine with me. Have fun, Wiz. 8)

Congrats Wizz, Looking at some of the stuff you put together yourself, some guys are going to get a quality assembly on their rides. Just remind them to put as much pride and TLC into owning them as you did building them.
I spent my therapy money an a K1200S
The therapy worked, I got a GS now
A touch of insanity crept back in the shape of an R1200R

Very Cool Wizzard. Pretty rare to get paid for something you like to do in your off time - so, why not. Especially if you're bugging the wife. Never hurts to have a few extra bucks around either. Good on ya

I can't wait for the day that I can take a job for fun, not because I have to.
