Restoration Links
I've been on a search for days now for some good websites with guides and how-tos on bike restoration. That's how I found this place, and I can tell the forums are going to be a great help, but after reading the majority of the guides listed on the main part of the website, I feel like theres more to read and learn. So I was wondering if anyone had links to good website with guides or even well documented project logs, so I can see a varitiy of approaches to differnt situations. The project logs with plenty of pictures and commentary are always the most fun to read, but anything is great, as long as its helpful in restoring my bike. Thanks

that's what I've been doing, don't know if it's what you're doing but maybe it'll help. I've got a few more little projects that I haven't made time to post up there yet that are a little less costomization and a little more restoration.

Wow... your site has inspired me to whip out the html skills and dust off the photoshop icon, and design me a proper work log. But I'm not quite sure if its worth it, but I've got nothing better to do after its too dark to work on the bike. You learn to do all your web design professionaly, or is it just a hobby? Anyways, wicked site, I'll be sure to follow it.

Thanks!
I build/code (not design) web sites for a living for a bunch if big retail companies. My g/f does too so we've been working on a new site of our own, which my projects are part of. Most of my other stuff is pretty lame because I dont normally have much time to spend on design so we've been having some fun with this one.

Back a few years ago thats what I wanted to do for a living, but I got bored of it after a few years, and couldn't imagine myself doing it as a job. I was starting to get pretty good too, but forgot alot of the things I learnt when my hobbies changed. Oh well, ce la vie. I figured if I wanted to be a millionaire, that wasn't the way to go, lol. So now buisness is where I start.

it can be boring at times. I've been doing it for 5 years now. But the good thing is that my job is more of a programmer then a "web" person, so its not like i'm doing the same thing all the time. I get to work on some back end stuff too. I was an accountant before doing this, so this is definitly more exciting then that
Plus if I get bored I just neglect my job and build/weld/break things instead
Its nice to take a brake from computers and build things with your hands once in a while.
