Hello from Coffs Harbour

#1 Unread post by Awox »

Hello TM,

I am a student interested in beginning motorcycling as an every-day means of transportation and it's also something that looks like it could be great fun.

I've recenetly made the effort to get the best safety equipment I can afford (gloves, full-face helmet, jacket) and most importantly... I've decided on my learner bike. A second hand 1986(maybe 1983) Honda VT250F. It's in really poor shape but we're getting it for a good price ($1200, with blue-slip).

I've passed the state's required WHEEL-SKILLs course which was fun and definately educational. I also got my learner's license. Now I am just waiting for my motorcycle to get it's blue slip so I can go and register the sucker and drop a tonne of money on insurance.

Does anyone know how much it might cost to make it look more like this one? Sure I will probably drop it and it will get a few more scuffs, but why not give her a bit of glamour?

Thanks,

Awox
