 Nice.

I bought new tires the other day too. Didn't burn out the old ones though. Gonna modify a bicycle to fit them.

That's actually the first time I've done that, in or on any vehicle. I'm too dam cheap to waste good riding life on a tire, but this one was wasted already so I just went with it. The neighborhood kids enjoyed it almost as much as I did.

No, dat boot was shagged and squared off, that's why I roasted it off..... :|

But the real story is, I went out riding earlier, burned up all my fuel and stopped at the local H.D. shop to order my new tires, then went home. My buddy happened to call up so I told him I needed a photographer and to get here right away. He did and so I got ready to go out front of the house and alienate my neighbors. My pal figured I should be out there with no lid or jacket or nothing. I been down that road before.... 'Hey look at me being an idiot..... CRASH, bang, crunch, tinkle, tinkle'.... figured I better at least have my helmet on, and it was only 50* F outside, so the jacket wasn't sitting this one out. The shoes were on so I just left 'em on.

5 passes, 3 in one direction, 2 in the opposite.... total distance covered, about 50 feet. Then I parked the bike on my front walkway and waited for the cops to show up. They never did, so we sparked a blunt and put the bike away.

The tire was squared off before and you could feel it coming up onto the edges when turning. Went for a short snort today.... whoa-hoa can you ever feel it roll off the flat center now..... feels like riding an elevator now. So I spent today roasting it off while leaned over... big fun, but a good way to high-side, so I pushed my luck as far as I felt comfy with then packed 'er in before I made myself sorry.

Winter coming always makes me push my luck... gotta get as much fun in before I can't ride for 4-5 months. This has bit me in the arse more than once. Scared myself enough today that hopefully it won't be an issue this year........

That old rear tire must have felt like a car tire in corners.....

Maybe ya coulda found a car tire to fit the back of your FJ, Buzz. I know of at least one guy on this forum that thinks car tires on bikes is just ducky. :)
