Thanks... i must have missed that.. well, if all goes well, I will be buying the bike this week... but unfortunately I will not ride it until the snow is gone... not many places seem to have the blue/ blue flames left... so guess i will go make a deal and go from there... thanks for everyone for being helpful.

Okay, here we come the sound from one who own V-star 650.

First of all, V-Star is really great for beginner and not so beginer. It is not difficult to learn on but also have enough power to get you everywhere you want. There are two style on V-star, Custom and Classic. Custom is a little bit lighter weight than Classic about 470lbs classic 550 or something. Classic comes with bigger front tire and longer fender. everyelses pretty much the same.

I also recommend to get a used bike around 2000-2003 which the price should be around 2500 - 4500.

Last, seat on both can be removed if you like Solo (rider and passenger are seperate) style. there are also plenty of Third party / Custom seat avaialble.
