Hiya, I had a bit of a smash on my bike a couple of weeks ago, and now the back tyres started to slide out whenever I brake, or even just ease of the throttle slightly. I only changed the back tyre a couple of months ago, any ideas on what the problem might be? Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
If it's a rear drum you may have adjusted the brakes too tight.
It's always helpful to let us know the Make Model and year of the bike so we can determine the bike's attributes.
As buzz mentioned - does the tire spin freely?

you said bit of a smash-- are your tires aligned with each other? Did the back tire get knocked out of line - got me how you'd check if the frame was true - maybe just resetting the back tire would tell you more. be careful.
What kind of bike? Because it happens even with just easing off the throttle, I would be leaning to either brakes adjusted too tight (if in a drum), or wheel bearing bad or even a bent swing arm or worn swing arm bushings.
