Gas problems

#1 Unread post by greentiger »

We have a 95 CBR900RR with a 945 kit in it. My hubby is having problems with the gas mixing with the oil in the crankcase. Gas is also flooding the cylinders. We have cleaned the carbs and he had it running, but now it has shut off and is doing the same again. Any ideas?

Are you getting fuel leaking out of the Overflow tubes in the carbs?

Sounds like you got float and/or needle valve problems. Pull the carbs and check float height, and inspect the needle valves and seats very carefully.
No Witnesses.... :shifty:
