Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

Once again, if anyone wants to say anything to him leave it here. I've mailed off everything that's been posted so far.Toyuzu wrote:I made it to basic training on Wednesday last week. We weren't allowed to write letters at first. Today is Sunday, and I finally finished organizing my locker. We've been pretty busy so far. We wake up at 4:30 every morning and we have to shaven, dressed and ready with the barracks clean by 5:00.
We do some exercisies every morning and push-ups all day (as a punishment for everything) but no running yet. Basic traning doesn't officially begin until tomorrow. We get to climg a 40 foot tower tomorrow though. I'm looking forward to that. So far we have mostly had classroom sessions with various leaders from Fort Sill, and practised marching and drill maneuvers.
Believe it or not, we only have 45 seconds each night to take a shower. We all get a dab of shampoo on top of our heads with a towel around our waist and get in line. We brush our teeth while we wait in line, and the drill sergeant stands outside the showers with a stopwatch and tells us when to get out. T think my platoon has the best drill sergeants. Thy're the nicest (Editor's note: I think the Drill Sergeants read the outgoing mail...)
Hope the weather is holding out so you can ride
