Congrats on the new bike. As for the exhaust, when I had my 84 magna the only thing wrong with it was the exhaust was rusted through. So I looked around and found some brand new Jardine turn-outs on ebay for cheap. The new pipes made the bike look better along with the improved sound. If you do decide on new exhaust for it you might want to check ebay out.

Good job CB.
Now two things: I do not want to hear about you tearing around with all the extra horses you got, frightning old ladies and spilling their tea.

Second: How can you sell your old friend, for months you have been extoling the virtues of your CB360, defender of the small cubes. Selling that bike would be like selling your sister.
I am sure you are going to have many great miles on the Magna, but I bet a quick run to the shops and the 360 comes out.

Ha Ha Ha - thanks for all the great comments. I might sell my sister but it would be difficult to sell my old Honda. What do I mean 'old honda'... my new Honda is 20 years old! For now we're going to store my old bike for the winter and hopefully our finances will let me hang onto it when the spring arrives - that is my preference. It's a summer bike anyway. When you've lasted 31 years with no rust you shouldn't be subjected to a Pacific Northwest winter anyway - she's a summer bike. The new bike has some small cosmetic flaws that don't bother me a bit and I'm not gonna fuss over this bike like the 360. It's a rider.

You definitely can't have too many bikes. If I had a bigger garage and a lot more money I could easily talk myself into a touring bike, a dual-sport, a sidecar rig, and maybe an old 125 for the really short trips to the store! I just like bikes.

I might look into some new pipes eventually. First I'm gonna get some new tires and put a few hundred miles on them - then I'll have a better idea what I like and what I don't.

Anyway - thanks again for all the comments. It should be at least 2006 before I buy any motorcycles. Of course I did see an 82 Virago for $400 today - sounds like all it needs are the carbs cleaned....hmmm

Glad it worked out for you!

Hang on to your CB360. I almost sold my '73 CL350 and I know I would have regretted it if I had. Rode it to work again today, have it licensed until 22 Dec, be nice if the weather holds.

Also (similar to your idea for a 125) have a 90cc beer getter.

We have yet to see a single picture of your new beast! I demand pictures from as many angles as possible, and preferably with a rider!!!!
