New in Arizona, where the heat dictates everything
I guess i'm not even technically a nOOb yet, i haven't really even been on a bike. i might get my first test lesson this week though, and i'm signed up for the MSF course hosted by TEAM Arizona later this month. Still trying to figure out what kind of bike i want, i'm thinking either GS500F, v-star 650, LS650, or old CBR600. we'll see, i'll let everyone know how the MSF course is, b/c there was some debate on it in the New Bikers Forum. I know mine cost me $210, with student discount. BTW....these forums rock, really getting me educated before i actually get on a bike...thanks!

Welcome to the forums S7 , I use to live in Arizona . It wasn't quite the end of the world where I lived , but you could see it from there . And we only had two seasons , summer and August ...............
Kind regards, Wizzard

Riding season is just getting started here in AZ. A few months ago, I'd only see the hardcore, die-hard riders on my ride to work. Nowadays, it looks like everyone has pulled their bikes out of the garage to enjoy the sub-100 degree days.
Hey Zoo, I've been riding here for ~24 yrs. and I've never owned a water cooled bike. Air cooled is fine as long as you keep 'em moving.
