Have you ever seen me give someone a hard time over what bike they ride? Including the Harleys.ZooTech wrote:Let's see...the 599 has 47.4 ft/lbs of torque and 88hp so.......Sevulturus wrote:My first bike as a LS650 that pumped out
33hp and 20 some ft/lbs of torque, are you saying that isn't good enough?
Have you ever seen me brag about the power my bike outputs? No. I'm saying you don't need to have the biggest baddest best bike out there to have fun.
And the implication that I couldn't have had fun on my bike that is less powerful then the best out there doesn't mean it's any less enjoyable. Or any less a bike.
I have the same respect for the guy on the savage as I do for the guy on the meanstreak...
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

Altho I have never owned one , I think that side cars are way too kewl . It takes a different kind of rider for that kind of riding . And any brother or sister with their knees in the breeze regardless of the ride is definitely a kindred spirit .........

Settle down, Bubba, I was just pointing out a wee bit of irony in your post!Sevulturus wrote:Have you ever seen me give someone a hard time over what bike they ride? Indeed, but that was because I never saw the irony. It said, "I like my chicken strips extra thin" and mine were maybe 1/4" wide at the time. What'd I miss???Mintbread wrote:I recall you got your undies a little twisted when I did the same with your sig...ZooTech wrote: Settle down, Bubba, I was just pointing out a wee bit of irony in your post!
I guess it comes down to personal perspective. To me 1/4" is wide.ZooTech wrote: Indeed, but that was because I never saw the irony. It said, "I like my chicken strips extra thin" and mine were maybe 1/4" wide at the time. What'd I miss???

Well, considering the fact that they were 1/4" wide even after sending sparks flying off my pegs I'm not sure what more I can do to appease you. I'm sure you'll be happy to know they were completely gone after my trip to The Dragon, but only after pinching my boots against the frame during some hard, prolonged leaning.Mintbread wrote:I guess it comes down to personal perspective.
