Greetings.
I recently had fun reviewing the SportVue MC1 Heads Up display.
If you're interested in one of these you'll find the review here.

SportVue MC1 Review
They provided the demo unit at my request.keysman wrote:Good review Renegade. Thanks for sharing with us. Did you have to purchase the MC1 for the review or did they send you a demonstration unit?
They do have a demo program for clubs where they will send one out for 60 days.
I think that would be hard to take advantage of unless everyone could use the same bike. Even so the mounting of the unit on the helmet is really personal. Everyone needs it in a different place depending upon eye dominance and preference.
Plus, once you go to the trouble of wiring that thing up you don't really want to un-do it to move it from bike to bike. Especially if you had to fabricate a mount.

The wiring harness wouldn't be sooo bad... My RPM tap was under my tank which ended up being a PITA because I have to remove my steering damnper etc.keysman wrote:I don't think I would want to take it all off after reading what you had to go through to install the unit.
But the Head unit, well, at least the bracket that's pretty permanet to the visor.
All in all the more I use it it, the more I'm liking it.
They also just released the MC2 at moto GP. It takes in Radar audio input. I'm a little dissapointed that it only Flashes the word RADAR in the display.
They should be able to light the RPM gauge in response to signal strength which it doesn't look like (from the marketing material) that it does.
