carburetor problems

#1 Unread post by Ender1183 »

I have a 1986 Suzuki GS450L and I am having trouble with the carb. It has been running OK but now every time I pull on the throttle is dies. There is a smell of gas and far as I can tell it is not getting enough air. I am wondering if there is anything I can do that might fix it. I wouldn’t mind getting a carburetor kit. Where can I get one and about how much would it be?

First check the air filter and make sure it's not full of junk..
