I've been digging up on it but I can't find any that have that exact fairing. The ones that I find are usually flat faced and not as aerodynamic as the one pictured. If I didn't know that the show ran from 1988-89 my guess woulda been that the bike was from the early-mid 90s based solely on the appearance of that sexy fairing.BuzZz wrote:That is an old Slabside Gixxer from 84/85-87. There are still lots of them around, not many in stock configuration, but some still are.

It could be a japanese model, they had some different versions that the rest of the world never got.
It has what looks like a slabby tail section, but it doesn't have the funky anti-dive compensators on the forks that slabbies had. The front fairing does look smaller than normal too. can't see the frame so can't say for sure what chassis it is.

No Witnesses....

interesting thread...
Id say "Biker Mice from Mars" from the 90's was the worst bike orientated cartoon ever.
There are still quite a few late 80's to mid 90's gixxers around in S.A and Im sure there is one just like that is normally parked off a main road I travel.
I must admit its narrow and low top fairing looks pretty good.

Street Hawk got cancelled after a dozen episodes, Masked Rider Black was so popular that they even created icons for him.Nibblet99 wrote:street hawk didn't need one, his company bike had street cred (being jet black)

Alan Vega. Suicide. Ghostrider. Ghostrider.
Ghostrider, motorcycle hero.
Ghostrider, motorcycle hero.
Baby, baby, baby, baby, he's blazing away!
Like the star, star, stars in the universe, yeah.
Baby, baby, baby, he's looking so cute, yeah!
Riding around in a blue jumpsuit, yeah.
Baby, baby, baby, baby, he's screaming the truth!
America is killing its youth.
I see them trying, dying, choking, drowning, going down, going down.
I see you dying, dying.
Oh. You don't wanna break apart Ghostrider's heart.
He's riding through your town with his head on fire.
He's riding through your town with his head on fire.
Halo burning. Eyes are crying. Halo buring. Eyes are crying.
Ghostrider, Ghostrider, Ghostrider, Ghostrider keep riding.
Never stop riding.
Hey, hey, don't forget to burn, don't forget to burn.
Burn with fire. With fire, fire, fire, fire!
With fire! Yeah!
