this spring i bought a 1982 suzuki gs1100s. the katana. the manufacturing date says 1982 but my local suzuki dealership says its an '83 model. apparantly they didn't make the katana in 82.
my question for anyone out there is about a shop manual for this bike. i checked claymer books and they didn't have anything for this model. if anyone has any ideas or knows anything about these bikes i would appreciate and info.

If you have a real Katana, it is a GSX-1100SZ, not a GS-1100.

thats awsome. all those bikes looke exactly like mine cept mine is black. i checked my bike again and talked to the previous owner. the bike i bought is a GS1100S. it says it right on the bike and the previous owner and he said it was a GS1100S. he also said it was a katana (i figured so with the decal on the side panel).
so in the end i bet a manual for the GSX-1100SZ would be exactly what i am looking for.
