i have a zzr 250 and the tubes that connect the airbox to the carbs(twin) keep coming off and leaving gaps where extra air/gravel/bovril can get into the carbs.
is it possible to make replacement tubes out of something and attach these on, or will it put the carbs out of kilter by having a different amount of air getting in?
my other option is to get a replacement filter (K+N thing)... anybody know where to find one?

some kind of extension shouldn't hurt it at all. I doubt a 250 would notice a K&N filter, those carbs dont pull a huge amount of air.
