zzr250

#1 Unread post by skinnylegs05 »

i have a zzr 250 and the tubes that connect the airbox to the carbs(twin) keep coming off and leaving gaps where extra air/gravel/bovril can get into the carbs. :frusty:
is it possible to make replacement tubes out of something and attach these on, or will it put the carbs out of kilter by having a different amount of air getting in?
my other option is to get a replacement filter (K+N thing)... anybody know where to find one?

any advice appreciated

some kind of extension shouldn't hurt it at all. I doubt a 250 would notice a K&N filter, those carbs dont pull a huge amount of air.
