I'm thinking roughly 10,000 miles or 16,000 (aprox.) km. I'm going to scale back next year - I don't like the cost of replacing tires on my bike. But the miles are basically a couple 500 mile weekend away trips and many 200 or 300 mile day rides, plus as many couple hour rides as I can fit in during a work week.

I've only had my bike for a couple of months, and my license for less than that, so I've only got a little over 1,000 miles on it. My longest trip yet has been riding to work a couple of nights last week, a 156 mile round trip.

Another Beemerphile, YAAAAAY. That new RT is awsome, you have to ride that thing or it will freeze up on you. We ride with guys that have 200 000 kms on their 1100's.BobMielke wrote:I've had my bike since the middle of April & have 14,750 miles on her. That's 500 miles a week. I ride 365 days a year, since I live in the South. With previous bikes over a 25 year span I ride 1500 miles a month. This new BMW R1200RT has me enjoying riding like never before.
I spent my therapy money an a K1200S
The therapy worked, I got a GS now
A touch of insanity crept back in the shape of an R1200R
