Fraid so!

BSA Gold Star was 'Rusty' because that's what it was when I bought it.

Bright yellow Hyosung is 'Sonny/Sunny' - never decided which.

The SV650 got to be 'Shiva' (Mostly because it was a SilVer SV, but I liked the idea of the god of destruction who danced the end of the world)

So far the SV1000 is just 'the bike.' It feels too serious a bike to have a name?

I haven't really thought about it but I suppose I could go with the "free ride" Since I'm a fan of the song by the Edgar Winter Group. That and I didn't pay for it.

First bike, an 81 cb750 I named Darcana, a buddist word that meant something like "the ultimate perception of the one true reality". I didn't have my sportbike too long, and never named it. I've had my VTX1800 about a year and just refer to it, as many VTX owners do, as my X.

Hello all

I call mine the "White Whale"

Mainly because it is a ex-police BMW painted ......... white ........

Looks big on the road and gets noticed.

My old XS1100 was called "The Pig", because it had a handling problem (went around left handers beautfully and handled like a pig on right, bent forks)

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone

Ride safe

Fearless

:D

Please, my wife is already jealous of it. If I start getting any closer. I may have to chose which one to keep....

Mine is named "Emily" because my kids are convinced her purchase was precipitated by MLC or Mid-Life Crisis. Kinda rhymes?!

Miss Evil is her name. Just seemed right. After all, who's going to take over the world when I'm gone?

Some ideas for snwbrdr: "Geisha" or "Assassin" to follow the Japanese naming convention.
