Ive just installed the gixer 1000 digital clocks they work great but Ive relised I needed gauges in KPH and these clocks are in MPH....any one have any Idea How to change them over

Over here you can buy a little unit that converts from Kph>Mph, that screws directly into bottom of speedo unit, you then screw the cable into that.. I'm assuming you should be able to get the same thing over there to do the opposite?

Like this one - (this is the opposite of what you need, but you get the idea)

sooo, since you guys seem to know what you are talking my dad is a decent metal worker and i was daydreaming about making metal fairings? is this possible, feasible? i think if its possible my dad could probably make it. ideas?

thanx a lot. I was also wondering if anyone had ever done this or seen it done. maybe ill just be a pioneer. custom gas tank you say? hmm hadnt thought of that yet. interesting. make it flat back so its easier to lay on wider to increase volume put some kind of design on it......so where do i get this aluminum?

Doing something like a project like this will be much better in the long run. Your knowledge of anything grows vastly when you take it apart, and put it back together, especially custom.

Where did you get those headlights btw? Are they a set you bought, or found two lights like that. I'm looking at making a dual headlight setup for my bike, but in vertical fashion and need to find lights similar to these to do the job. Should have two seperate headlight sets then, a vertical dual headlight, and my GSX-R headlight that I'm finishing up right now for the bike.
