Nice places to ride

#1 Unread post by snwbrdr »

I know we are all always looking for nice places to so... if u are from the columbus Ohio area i found an amazing place to ride. to find it you take state route 16 east out of columbus. about 40 miles out of columbus u will come to the exit for state route 60. when u get off the ramp turn left and enjoy

Turns---yes.. plenty. there are probably three straightaways that are between 1/4 and 1/2 mile long, the rest is turns of every shape and size. banked, flat, sharp, slight... its all their
Hills---its constantly up and down steeps and not so steeps.
Pavement--- all 16 miles repaved around July.
Traffic--- almost none. i have driven the route four times and definitely seen less than 20 cars total.

If you're in western MA, take rt 2 out to and then past North Adams. If you're in Albany, NY hit up rt 7 to the grafton lakes state parks area and hop on rt 2 east and head up and over to the other side. Same road, just as fun both ways.

LA is never fun to ride. Not one freeway i can think of thats pleasent. Angeles Crest is nice but to many idiots up there makes it dangeruos. the 2 south in glendale is nice if you are close. I10, I210, I5, i hate em all, though the 135 out by northridge is kinda fun, not to many people and hardly ever cops. Good luck finding a fun area man, let me know if you do.

If you're in Florida, drive north about 11 hours to North Carolina.

Ride up to the Rock Store some weekend . You'll be surprised and amazed .
Taking Highway 1 to Santa Barbara in the spring is another good cruise .
