Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

While I briefly considered it as an option, I find I have to much fun riding. So I'll just live with what it's done to both my social and private life.sv-wolf wrote:Sevulturus wrote:That would be death. I agreee, even thought we usually don't get that cold of weather I'm keeping mine out to catch those "dry pavement" days.storysunfolding wrote:Hell it's only been 20 degrees here in Va and we only had a little snow... why put it away yet?

Thanks Sev, I was kind of wondering.
I get what you are doing now, I also had to stop riding one day for winter, I think it was in 2002.
The chinese all thought the same thought when Beckham broke his ankle.
Heal Heal Heal.
We should do the same for BOB.

I spent my therapy money an a K1200S
The therapy worked, I got a GS now

Mike,
Maybe they don't use salt in your part of the country, but around here the salt would eat up a bike.
I get up early in the morning to operate a snow plow. Dreaming about riding on a nice country road, or in the smoky Mts. on a warm summer day keeps me going early in the morning. Winter is a tought time for me, as I can't ride my motorcycle, or use my boat on Lake Michigan.

Isn't this one of the reasons people get their frames powder coated and black out their engine? Keeps as little metal as possible exposed so they can ride in the winter with not as much worry.floatsmyboat wrote:Mike,
