I dropped a metal gasket in the cam chain tunnel

Hi fellows. I think I dropped a gasket in the cam chain tunnel. Not sure where it fell but its not in the cylinder head. Any ideas are welcome. It's my first post and first DIY experience so ...

What was it made of? Is it magnetic? You can get cheap magnetic pick-up tools on flexable shafts 12-18 inches long. You can also get the same thing with a 2-3 jaw grabber on it. Either way, stick it down after the gasket and go fishing for awhile. You don't want to leave it there.
