Had all kinds of stuff hit my radiator without any problems .
Just my 2¢ worth as usual .
Kind regards, Wizzard
I have a totally different bike to WIZZARD, also liquid cooled, also shaft drive, also no problems. I regulary hit 250kmh and you would think that even if a fly hit the radiator at that speed, there would be damage. Nope nothing.
I spent my therapy money an a K1200S
The therapy worked, I got a GS now
A touch of insanity crept back in the shape of an R1200R

I've also never heard any complaints about either of these. You can't really go wrong with a Honda engine -- that's for sure; it'll last a while. Even though the V-Star is air-cooled, all reports I've read say that that engine is pretty much bulletproof.

Looks wise, I love both those machines, though the Shadow seems to be a bit beefier; especially in the front end cause of those inverted forks. Power wise; I've yet to find a review that lists them as being quite different. The Shadow seems to have a more upright riding position than the V-Star -- if that makes any difference.

Perhaps one difference you might be looking at is price -- the Shadow is a couple grand more expensive than the Star.

Let us know what you decide -- I'm trying to decide between these two myself for an early Spring purchase.

I set on a Shadow Aero and a Shadow Spirit today at Honda Dealer

I think i like the Shadow Spirit best :D

The price between the Aero and Spirit is only $1500 seems worth it for that much more bike

It's a new 05, ther guy said i should lay it away til spring, but i may wait and get a 06, not that much more, and i am sure when the times comes they will knock off some anyway, as i have bought 3 bikes and 4 wheeler and other stuff from this guy.
