1st test video with new camera mount

#1 Unread post by vector18 »

I found a mount for a medical device and I used it to clamp my camera to my handle bars. Unfortunetely, I forgot to charge the battery and the camera kept shutting off on me and I didn't realize the setting was at low resolution so it recorded in a small box. But here's a little video sample on how the camera will look while clamped to bars. Let me know what you all think.

Those pipes sound nice. Slick riding too, albeit dangerous. Reminds me of that video of the dude on the sport bike buzzing through (i think) Rome.

Really crappy riding in that kind of traffic, camera works OK though, take it with you next time you get a good ride out.
I spent my therapy money an a K1200S
The therapy worked, I got a GS now
A touch of insanity crept back in the shape of an R1200R

That's really cool! BUT PLEASE DON'T KILL YOURSELF!

What kind of device did you use to mount it? Any pics of the Camera setup?

It's not meant to be a camera mount, but it fits the tripod hole exactly.
Here's a pic of what I'm using to hold the camera to my bars and I'm using
a Fuji F700 with a 512mb xd card for videoing. My battery was really low so the camera kept dying on me so in this video, I had to shoot a few 10 second clips.

The pipes I'm running are Samson ground pounders. It helps having 1700cc's to make that deep sound, not just pipes. The next chance I get, I'm gonna open it up on an open highway and than show alittle more white lining at high speeds. Believe it or not, I'm one of the tame guys in my riding group of Yamaha Warriors!

Good job ... I want to get one of naples riding up there eventually ... that looks like a decent mounting solution.
